Christmas is coming… and so are we, Durham. 🎄

We’ve got some exciting news.

When Mother Mercy announced they were opening a brand new cocktail bar in Durham, we knew we had to be part of it.

We’ve loved hosting workshops with the team in Newcastle, so bringing Candles & Cocktails to Durham’s newest cocktail bar felt like the perfect next step.

We’re so excited to be launching our very first Durham workshop, and we can’t think of a better place to do it.

Join us on Sunday 15 November for a festive afternoon of candle making, cocktails and Christmas scents.

Whether you’re meeting friends, starting your Christmas shopping or just looking for something a little different to do on a Sunday afternoon, we’d love to see you there.

No experience is needed whatsoever.

Our workshops are relaxed, welcoming and all about switching off for a couple of hours. We’ll guide you through every step, so whether you’ve made candles before or you’re a complete beginner, you’ll leave with something you’re genuinely proud of.

This is one of our small-group workshops, which means everyone gets plenty of help and the atmosphere stays nice and relaxed.

We honestly can’t wait to bring Hot Wax to Durham and meet lots of new faces.

Tickets are non-refundable but may be transferred to another person if you can no longer attend.

💛 Just a quick heads up… We absolutely love this venue, but it does have quite a few steps (including to the toilets). They can catch me out after a couple of cocktails, never mind anyone else! Unfortunately that means it isn’t suitable for wheelchair users. If you need step-free access, I’d recommend one of our Tyneside Cinema or Motel One Newcastleworkshops instead – they’re both fully accessible.
