Christmas Candle Making Workshop at All Bar One, Newcastle
By late November, we’re not even pretending it’s too early for Christmas anymore.
We’re heading back to All Bar One Newcastle for a cosy Sunday afternoon of festive scents, cocktails and candle making, right in the heart of Newcastle’s beautiful Grey Street.
You’ll make your own 120ml soy wax candle from scratch, choosing from a selection of our winter and Christmas fragrances while we guide you through the whole process.
Think cosy, festive, ridiculously good-smelling and exactly the sort of thing you should be doing on a Sunday afternoon when Christmas is just around the corner.
Whether you’re bringing friends, planning a festive date or coming along on your own, it’s a relaxed 90 minutes of candle making, drinks and getting properly into the Christmas spirit.
Your ticket includes a complimentary welcome drink on arrival, your handmade candle and one of our signature Hot Wax goodie bags to take home.

And there’s absolutely no need to rush off afterwards.
All Bar One’s two cocktails for £15 offer starts at 4pm on Sundays, conveniently just as we’ll be wrapping things up.
We’re not saying you have to stay.
We’re just saying it would be terribly rude of the calendar to line things up that perfectly and for us not to mention it.
Festive scents, cocktails, Christmas on Grey Street and your own candle to take home.
Christmas candle season is officially ON.
Just a quick heads up… We absolutely love this venue, but it does have quite a few steps (including to the toilets). They can catch me out after a couple of cocktails, never mind anyone else! Unfortunately that means it isn’t suitable for wheelchair users. If you need step-free access, I’d recommend one of our Tyneside Cinema or Motel One Newcastle workshops instead – they’re both fully accessible.
