Make your own Christmas Pudding candle at the Ouseburn Christmas Light Switch-On! 🎄
Ouseburn is switching on its Christmas lights—and we’re joining in with a special express candle-making experience at our shop.
For just £10, you’ll pour your own mini Christmas Pudding-scented candle before choosing a free mystery Christmas present.
We’ve even hidden two Golden Tickets among the presents. Find one and you’ll win a free full-size Hot Wax candle!
Your candle will need around 30 minutes to set, giving you time to enjoy the light switch-on and explore Ouseburn before returning to collect it.
Your £10 ticket includes:
- One mini 60ml Christmas Pudding-scented candle
- Our express candle-pouring experience
- A free mystery Christmas present
- The chance to find one of two Golden Tickets and win a full-size Hot Wax candle
- Your finished candle to collect approximately 30 minutes later
How it works
- Arrive during your selected 30-minute window.
- Pour your Christmas Pudding-scented candle with help from the Hot Wax team.
- Choose your mystery Christmas present.
- Enjoy the Christmas light switch-on while your candle sets.
- Return approximately 30 minutes later to collect your candle.

Please arrive during your selected window. This is a busy live community event, so you may experience a short wait at particularly popular times.
Good to know
- This experience is for ages 16+ only.
- The candle will be made using our Christmas Pudding fragrance; alternative scents won’t be available during this express event.
- Your candle must be left with us for approximately 30 minutes after pouring.
- Candles must be collected from Hot Wax that evening and cannot be posted.
- Tickets are non-refundable, but you may transfer yours to somebody else.
- Please dress appropriately, as the candle-pouring station will be outside the shop.
- The first release is limited to only 50 spaces.
