Our Hot Wax Quickie is a speedy little candle-making experience at our Ouseburn shop, perfect for squeezing in before brunch, coffee or a wander around the valley.
You’ll spend around 20 minutes with the Hot Wax team, choose your favourite fragrance and pour your very own 60ml soy candle.
Then you’re free to head off for a coffee while your candle cools, before popping back to collect it later that day.
No cocktails. No lengthy commitment. Just one very efficient little candle.

Choose Your Pour
We release Pour Favour sessions on selected Saturdays.
Each date has two small, shared sessions:
First Pour
10:00am
Maximum four people.
Second Pour
10:30am
Maximum four people.
Tickets are sold individually, so you can come alone, bring a friend or book several spaces for your group.
The sessions are deliberately small, very relaxed and usually finished within 20 minutes.

Spaces are limited to eight people per date, so once they’re gone, they’re gone.
What Happens Afterwards?
Your candle needs time to cool and set, so it won’t be ready to take away immediately.
Once you’ve finished pouring, head out for a coffee, grab some breakfast or have a wander around Ouseburn.
You can then return to the Hot Wax shop later that day to collect your candle. It only takes about 30 mins to set and you’re good to go!
Frankly, there are worse ways to spend a Saturday morning.

Important Information
Pour Favour is for people aged 18 and over only.
Please arrive five minutes before your booked session so we can get everyone started on time.
Anyone arriving more than 15 minutes after their booked start time will be treated as a no-show. At that point, there simply won’t be enough time left to make the candle safely, and the booking will not be refunded.
Your £10 shop credit:
- Must be spent in the Hot Wax shop on the day of your session
- Must be used in one transaction
- Cannot be exchanged for cash
- Cannot be carried over to another day
- Cannot be used against workshops, event tickets or gift vouchers
- Does not include change if you spend less than £10
Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable unless Hot Wax cancels the session.
Your finished candle must be collected later that day during shop opening hours. Postage is not included in the ticket price.
By booking, you confirm that you are aged 18 or over and agree to follow the safety guidance given by the Hot Wax team.
